The Museo delle Genti D'Abruzzo traces the history of man in Abruzzo from his first appearance as a Paleolithic hunter, emphasizing the contribution made by the Italic tribes to the establishment of Rome, and a quick summary highlights how much of this past has been handed down to us in terms of customs, beliefs, places of worship, productions, objects, and forms.
In fact, the central theme of the Museum, which is divided into 16 large exhibition halls, is the concept of continuity, of cultural persistence, illustrated through multimedia instrumentation, educational laboratories, library, photo library, audio library, restoration laboratories, warehouses, exhibition halls and auditorium, totaling 3500 square meters.

Il Museo delle Genti D'Abruzzo traccia la storia dell’uomo in Abruzzo dal suo primo apparire come cacciatore paleolitico sottolineando il contributo offerto dalle tribù Italiche all’affermazione di Roma, ed una rapida sintesi evidenzia quanto di questo passato si sia tramandato fino a noi in termini di costumi, credenze, luoghi di culto, produzioni, oggetti, forme.
Tema centrale del Museo, articolato in 16 grandi sale espositive, è infatti il concetto di continuità, di persistenza culturale, illustrato attraverso strumentazioni multimediali, laboratori didattici, biblioteca, fototeca, audioteca, laboratori di restauro, magazzini, sale mostra e auditorium, per complessivi 3500 mq.
